Hierarchically electrospun nanofibers and their applications: A review

چکیده

Electrospinning is a popular method for generating long and continuous nanofibers due to its simplicity versatility. However, conventional electrospun products have weak strength low availability, which restrict their functionality in complex applications. Hierarchical morphology introduces additional distinctive structural layers onto fibers. This requires either an extra fabrication step or controlling electrospinning parameters achieve the desired morphology. can improve properties of while also mitigating undesired characteristics. review discusses primary secondary hierarchical structures nanomaterials. were found enhance nanomaterials pore connectivity surface areas nanofibers. A further advantage ability impart multiple functionalities on nanostructures. With better understanding some dominant structures, applications drug delivery, tissue engineering, catalysis, energy devices industries be improved.
